Create your Internet Banking Password

Please enter a password you would like to use to log in to the Internet Banking. It must be 8-32 characters in length (no spaces) and contain at least one lower case letter, one upper case letter, one number and one symbol. Some words (e.g. 'password'), too many repeated characters (e.g. '1111') and long sequences (e.g. '1234') are not allowed. We also recommend that you do not create your password using information which can be guessed easily (e.g. Date of Birth, Name, Address). Finally, we recommend that you change your password regularly.

Please note that we will never ask you to disclose your password details by email.

  • Longer passwords are often safer and harder to guess

    For example "Lacpas12ikms!" is better than "Lacpas1!"

  • Try using the first letters of each word from a made up phrase, sentence or song

    For example the sentence "Long and complex passwords are safest, I keep mine secret" becomes "lacpasikms".

  • Try swapping some letters for numbers or insert numbers in between

    For example "lacpas12ikms".

  • Try combining two unrelated items

    For example a memorable address with a car registration or birthday (not your own).

  • Avoid using plain words in any language

    They are more vulnerable.

  • Avoid repetition and obvious sequences

    For example '123456' , '22222222' , 'abcdefg'.
